Download MIUI 8 China Developer For Redmi Note - on 17 June 2016, MIUI 8 China Developer Rom to redmi note, but it's not only this global version. Initially I thought this is not a rom kitkat version, but my disappointment it right turned MIUI 8 to redmi note 4g still using version 4.4.4 kitkat.

How to Install via Fastboot

1. First download the MIUI 8 ROM zip file for your device (links below). Extract the zip file. 
2. After extracting rom folder copy and paste this folder into your device C drive.  
3. Boot your device into fastboot mode by pressing and holding the volume down + power button for few seconds until you see the Mi logo.  
4. After booting into fastboot mode connect you device with PC via USB cable. (If your device is not showing it means Adb drivers are not installed properly). 
5. In the Mi Flash tool you will find an option called browse just click on that and navigate the image folder which we put in the C drive earlier. Select flash all except data store.

How to Install via Recovery

1. First download the MIUI 8 ROM zip file for your device.
2. After download, copy zip file into memory eksternal.
3. Boot your device into recovery mode by pressing and holding the volume up + power button for few seconds or go to updater choose boot to recovery. recommended using CWM (testing redmi note 4g)
4. in recovery mode, choose wipe and clean for new rom. 
5. after wipe, now choose miui 8 rom zip file at eksternal memory.
6. if finished, choose clear cache and dalvik, done.
